    2004 BMW 330xi Coolant Leak

I noticed that I have a dripping leak that looks like coolant. Here is a picture, and you can see where the coolant hits the heat shield down the tube. Any recommendations on the repair?

This is passenger side bay off the firewall.

    Thanks!

That is an AC hose so it is probably just condensation.

So it'd be normal to see a little bit of steam rise from that area on a hot humid day right?

That's not what you originally asked? Why would there be steam from there. I do suppose that is possible. There is no antifreeze in that area.

It is true, but while I was sitting in traffic I saw a little steam come from that corner of the hood (no wind) on a 103 degree day 79% humidity. When I got to my destination I looked and there was some droplets formed there, everything else was bone dry as normal. Thanks for the information on it probably being condensation. My antifreeze level was perfect *(durp)*
