New to forum. Purchased a 1989 325i convertible 2 years ago. It has 79000 and change. It wasnt running for some time. Previous owner rebuilt engine and is a very good driver.

1995 540i (MILEAGE AT THE END OF THIS PARAGRAPH) first car at 15 and still have it. trans program shot up when i was 17 or 18 and its been parked evers since while i attended university. 7 years later im 26 and done with school finally graduation is december 2019 so i got 6 months of just waiting around.. i serviced the transmision and engine myself after everyone saying the transmission needed to rebuild and i would say no it doesnt it just needs servicing. well i change dropped all pans changed all filters all gaskets and all fluids and wow look at that the car went straight in gear and no trans program. now everyone is like wow he did not give up.. ill never give up my car for anyone.. not a damm soul.. only problem is i cannot adjust seats or steering wheel or side mirrors( they stay on heat mode).. The car is pushing (240k miles strong).. next thing is to do suspension overhaul, exhuast, rims, paintjob and new entirior.

wow thats awesome.. I love e34s and i love my car.. no one makes cars like the old ones. they had the perfect body styles.. suprisingly my car looks tiny but it is actually almost bigger than my 2011 buick lacrosse lenght wise.. it barely fits under my carport whiles the buick fits with plenty room left.. quite a visual deception of german engineering.. i hope mines goes for 1 million miles but im gonna turbo it eventually and drive it till it dies then put a new sleeved m60 in it.. but i have lots of plans for my e34..

My 2010 X5d has 223k on it, and I'm increasing that at a rate of around 40k a year. I hopefully wont have this commute MUCH longer, I commute over 100 miles a day. Regardless, I'm hopping to see 400 on this babe.

2007 X3 with 146,000. Replaced all wear and tear engine parts (plastic valve cover, oil cooler and oil filter housing gaskets, etc) and now she's driving like new!

Just bought a 525i it has 226,000 miles on it. It's my first BMW. So far it seems like a nice car but does need minor repairs. I Like working on cars so it's a little project for my idle time.
