If Eric is no longer making these, everyone please start begging Cemal to make them. His products seem to be near perfect as they're laser scanned and made of molded plastic vs. fiberglass.
I've been bugging him for ages. Simple fact of the mater is, real splitters are $750+shipping and tax these days. If someone, maybe Cemal, could bring a well priced alternative - $250 (original ACS cost back in the day) - $300, i'm sure folks would buy a ton. I had an original break. Thus, some of us end up buying more than one set...
I'd love for him to do these..... and that other amazing part that he wants to release in 2015

If I could get a set of these, and spare OEM spoiler to mount an ACS 3-piece replica onto, and install them with no permanent alterations, I'd happily get them. The only mods I consider worth it.

well you can do that with the spoiler.
In terms of the splitters, do you consider the holes you have to drill on the underside of the bumper permanent alterations? Is that holding you back?
What's holding me back is availability of quality parts. As far as I can tell, at least. Haven't looked really hard, but a set of the ACS splitters had a ludicrously high starting bid not too long ago.
I'm willing to pay a fair price for either originals (real German Plastic is ze fastest!) or a good set of reps. I don't find the price on Cel's stuff at all too bad, since he puts the legwork into making a nice product - looking at you, kobayashi.
While drilling holes might make me hesitant on actually installing a piece, it wouldn't hinder me on picking a set up for a fair price. You know, just in case I decide to use them.
I just don't want to further contribute to the price gouging and inflation a lot of these things suffer from.

Does anyone know if Eric is still making them? No reply yet.

So is that a consideration you make before replicating them? That they're NLA anywhere else? if so, that sucks because to get a real set is $750+tax&shipping.
I still can't believe I got my hands on 2 sets of real ones for $250/ea back in the day and another new set this year for ~$450 shipped.
750 is too much for my blood. Just because of the gouging.

I'd be in for a set (possibly 2) at 300 shipped for plastic molded ones...
Authentic ones are not worth the price for the name. Replicas are replicas for a reason.

I think 300 shipped is a bit too low considering the effort that making them requires. I'd be willing to go a bit higher. Even for reps. I just don't want to drop 700 dollars in stock that has a 100% marke up simply due to being able to get away with it.

Plastic injection mould for these flippers is not cost effective for me (also I dont have spare time). I'd ask to my mould producer for a quote on min. quantity of 10 parts and also check shipping rates for an accurate price. As soon as I ask I'll let you all know the projected shipped price

A thread should be made asking what parts the Z3 community really wants at this point then see who can make them - Ive got some cool parts on the horizon, but theres still a lot more that can be made. I think a lot of the stuff produced when these cars were new is either NLA or NLD (no longer desirable ). Tastes and the overall car culture has changed but the Z3 community is still a strong one and one that loves to modify their cars, but I'm not seeing a lot in the way of cosmetic upgrades that a LOT of people really want.
Subtle, clean, OEM+ looking type mods... I cant be the only one looking for stuff like that, can I?

In my plastic injection mould & part production experience you need too much money for metal moulds to be produced and you need to select the right plastic material cause you don't want your item to bend inside or be shorter than you expected I do also have a genuine part & new front bumper if composite production is needed sometime
