I recently sold my bimmer and i sold everything stock and took aftermarket parts off. I'm selling a Dinan BMW Performance chip for $70 shipped. I have the orginal case that came with it.

Make sure it will be compatible with your car. The ECU red label for this chip is #413. The chip # reads D900-2551

i have a 95 325, but production date is 10/94, but i def have the red label 413 dme. Is this for non vanos or vanos? I have the money now, just checking to make sure itll work for me, if its for vanos im pretty sure it will....u have paypal?

I don't think the vanos matters.. I bought it from a guy who had a '95 325is. I don't remember the production date from his car, but it should definitely work for the 413 dme.

My ad clearly says for the RED label #413.. not WHITE.

When purchasing an item like this, one should read or do research before purchasing a performance chip. This chip will work for a RED Labeled #413 as it states on my sale.

yeah, the chip for the 95 is solely based on production date, and if production is before 12/94 its the bosch red label 413 dme, and if its after 1/95 or later its the SILVER 413 dme....all deals with ews and obd orientation of the car

yeah I bought mine cheap from some one who told me it was what i needed when it really wasnt.

I put my stock chip back in and it started but then the next day it didnt....
you guys have any idea why it would do that?

it turns over but doesnt fire up. could I have fouled my plugs somehow?

other thing would be my actuall dme is messed up or the chip?

if ur stock chip back in the dme doesnt start the car, id find another dme and see if that one works. Most of the time that is the problem. Id try starting it a couple more times just to make sure. and make sure the stock chip is back in correctly, cause ive heard of people reinstalling wrong

post up in the e36 section and im sure there are people who would be able to verify whats wrong for you

Just like usherboy says, I would reinstall the stock chip and see if the problem exists. You have to make sure it's installed in the right position or else the car won't start.

The exact same thing happened to me when I took out the performance and reinstalling the stock chip back. The car wouldn't turn. I was freaking out and thought I screwed up the dme. Then I said to myself, I'll flip it the other way and bam it worked. I realized I installed it wrong. I hope it works out for ya!
