Now that's a collection! I'm now making plants to get in touch with you at some point in the future about a deal on one of those sets (ie. when I have more room!) - assuming you'll still be into this terrible hobby of yours
I want a set of RS bad. I saw a set of wheels from mikes pictures tonight. Im extremely jealous.
Im gonna try my best to make this terrible hobby into a Career! Its fun and the payoff is awesome, and the income is decent too.
You guys know what these wheels are, but to the average Joe, they look like dirty old wheels.
Once these wheels are completely refinished its such a good feeling to be able to look at them and know you created (I use this word loosely) them. A few of these sets will be pretty similar once there done, but Im gonna try to get creative with a few of these sets.
What Im getting at is, its fun to do, its hard work but its fun. And if there is money to be made doing it, than why not?
Stay tuned for some fairly rare BBS RS wheels, COMPLETELY refinished.

I need a shelf like that in my life, right now.
If either of you wheel hoarders need a place to keep a set, I have just enough room to store a set of really low-offset 17" RS's.

perrrfection!
how does the UUC BBK perform btw? (question directed at anyone)
Nope, its a custom powder coat "wheel silver" I love it. This is the latest set, still need to polish the lips and caps and pcoat the waffles.
They are wheel silver
PM me bro, I have 2 sets of style 5 that are gonna get the full treatment, I was planning on doing wheel silver on one set, and than gloss black on another. I may go wild and do Polished BBS hex caps, and bolts on one of the sets.
Thanks man! Will report back soon about the BBK.
EGGzactly!
Great, can I pay you a storage fee?

Love it
nice sets, the set in the top left in the first pic are the best though. I'm assuming those are the race ones
never cease to amaze hehe. i am although... a bbs rs set short now. but have something just as good if not better.
good stuff here.
I can't decide what to do with my style 5s...they're pretty much mint originals. They were going to be strictly for winter wheels but this thread has me thinking of doing some polished lips, gold bolts, red BBS caps and pearl white centers. Just so much $$
Yup, those are e26 mags, I prefer the RS though...
Damn you, I was gonna buy them from you, and refinish them.
Whats just as good, or possibly better than a slant lip RS? Do tell...
lol
I just picked up a set of style 5's in this exact configuration. Your right though, refinishing a wheel is not cheap.
If your interested in having it done, I can do it for a great deal. We can also find ways to save some money. Like powder coating the bolts gold instead of dropping $300 on new gold bolts, and using knockoff BBS stickers in the caps. I wouldnt do it, but its an option, as the red ones are NOT AVAILABLE right now from what Im told.

^pm sent!
That sounds pretty damn tempting...If I was anywhere near NC I would definitely take you up on that, but I'm sure shipping would offset any cost savings Which sucks because any wheel work up here is stupidly expensive.
I think purems has the red ones don't they? Don't see a mention of no longer available.
Lots of awesomeness in this thread here...LOTS hats off on the car, and im lovin the refurb collection. the Mike Burroughs pic is epic.
