Now that's a collection! I'm now making plants to get in touch with you at some point in the future about a deal on one of those sets (ie. when I have more room!) - assuming you'll still be into this terrible hobby of yours

Im gonna try my best to make this terrible hobby into a Career! Its fun and the payoff is awesome, and the income is decent too.

You guys know what these wheels are, but to the average Joe, they look like dirty old wheels.

Once these wheels are completely refinished its such a good feeling to be able to look at them and know you created (I use this word loosely) them. A few of these sets will be pretty similar once there done, but Im gonna try to get creative with a few of these sets.

What Im getting at is, its fun to do, its hard work but its fun. And if there is money to be made doing it, than why not?

Stay tuned for some fairly rare BBS RS wheels, COMPLETELY refinished.

If either of you wheel hoarders need a place to keep a set, I have just enough room to store a set of really low-offset 17" RS's.

Thats actually not my car, thats just a pic of the UUC SSBC BBK that I was using, but I love the car/wheels.

My specs will either be 18x8.5 et13 squared, or with 9.5 et13 rears, depending on if I can find the wheels or not.

Yup, those are your old wheels, they are BEAT up, they need barrels and lips, feel free to post that pic, I much enjoy your work and your taste, I just dont like you when your acting like a dick.

Let me know if you change your mind about those 285's, Ill buy em all day!

    No kidding!

Thanks my man! The 212/197's were imported from Germany.

Thanks buddy, you need to get on the ball with your car.

    And I love yours!

Maybe, but I make my life easier and the lips shinier buy using lots of RPMS!

I can't decide what to do with my style 5s...they're pretty much mint originals. They were going to be strictly for winter wheels but this thread has me thinking of doing some polished lips, gold bolts, red BBS caps and pearl white centers. Just so much $$

Damn you, I was gonna buy them from you, and refinish them.

Whats just as good, or possibly better than a slant lip RS? Do tell...

    lol

I just picked up a set of style 5's in this exact configuration. Your right though, refinishing a wheel is not cheap.

If your interested in having it done, I can do it for a great deal. We can also find ways to save some money. Like powder coating the bolts gold instead of dropping $300 on new gold bolts, and using knockoff BBS stickers in the caps. I wouldnt do it, but its an option, as the red ones are NOT AVAILABLE right now from what Im told.

That sounds pretty damn tempting...If I was anywhere near NC I would definitely take you up on that, but I'm sure shipping would offset any cost savings Which sucks because any wheel work up here is stupidly expensive.

I think purems has the red ones don't they? Don't see a mention of no longer available.
