Replaced the front struts and tie-rods yesterday on the benz, holy hell what a difference!
Gonna wash it up today and probably cruise around, anything going on?
Zack congrats on the job man. I know how much of a struggle that is, cause I've been looking for a little temporary action for a while now.
Nah, we keep it separate from CNC.
So every other sat....but where?
2006 F650GS Remus Exhaust
nah he was saying the CNC is every other sat. We kind of just plan things on the fly here. Stick around and eventually someone will randomly ask or mention a night and everyone chimes in with what works and doesn't and we go from there. We're a pretty freestyle type bunch haha.
Just cut the old exhaust off of the 325ix, just ordered $350 of exhaust pieces, should be a fun project once they arrive.
I'm down for a cruise this week...
Yeah these crazy kids on here like to plan last minute.

That new Mustang looks incredibly ricey when seen next to that Camaro.
or cuda.
Drew and I did some suspension work on the benz this weekend, feels so much better, but then yesterday it started bucking and stalled after leaving a street-light. Now we gotta figure out what's wrong with it. I was so pumped to have it running so good and cruised around all weekend. We think it's fuel related, so the cheapest diagnosis is new fuel, since the same 3/4 tank was in there all winter and a new fuel filter... next will be the fuel pump.
here's a quick pic from yesterday...
damn that thing is good looking.
It's a 'Cuda. Very very badass mopar. Not a fan of the wheels, but man is it clean. Proper ride height as well. One could only hope it has the 440 in it.
Exactly. Considering going and driving one tomorrow. $40k for a car that competes with cars that are $20k more. The best part about it is they've done the suspesion on this car, and some say it handles better than the SVT's (with the exception of the terminator as that SVT had a IRS) and that's saying a lot considering it's a live axle vehicle. Posted the green car as I like that retro front A LOT. Looks photochop'd, but still.
Same here. It's about time one of us get something new....
Konk, the Merc looks CLEAN. Good luck finding out the issue...if it isn't fuel related, time to start checking for cracked vac lines.
