yep
What kind of finish is on those puppies? And what do you want for them? Do want.
Edit: Ah, okay, I see now.
I'll do some research to see if +40 offset will fit under the stock strut mounts on 245s without any issues.

Eeeexcellent.
OK so....
Who is going to Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix?
July 21st - 24th
I'll be there, but in the mercedes field.
I will be there on Sunday after being out all night, probably wont be feeling well.
Found a before pic for comparison. This was also with a 225/45 tire. The new ones above are 225 40. So I think it looks a lot better. I put the koni yellows on with H&R springs and 15mm spacers in the front and 12.5mm spacers in the rear.
Ignore how dirty it is...Haven't had any time to clean it.

I'll most likely be down for that too.
Saw an M850CSI today up near my house. It was white. Just knew it was an 8 series but had an M badge...I had to look it up. Apparently they're pretty damn rare. It seemed to be in REALLY good condition.
Any pics?Originally Posted by negley
Hate to say this, but I kinda doubt it was a real 850csi. They didn't have any M badging from the factory, and most owners of them don't put M badges on them for the simple reason that they don't need to. Very awesome cars though and it's been a vehicle that I've dreamed of owning for years haha. Here's a little vid showing how smooth the 380hp v12 is. Oh and only 225 made for the states.

There's some other vids out there showing startup and revving while the quarter is in place, pretty impressive imo.
Also Negley the car looks like it's coming together very nicely! It's nice to see someone putting in the hard work themselves on an e46 M3

I was starting to doubt it's authenticity also once I started looking into them more. I remember it has a quad tip exhaust if that helps identify it at all...
Thanks for the compliments on the car. It has been a lot of work, but it's worth it. Dan (1997328is) put his time in on the initial suspension install. It's probably doable by yourself, but there sure were a lot of times where I think two people were necessary.
Parts still waiting to be put on:
Rear rotors and pads
Headers
Angel eyes(I ripped the old ones out because they started to burn out)
Replace my broken auto dim rear view mirror
Next parts:
SSK
4.10 gears (Probably won't happen. I can afford the ring and pinion, but I really don't want to pay for the labor. Apparently it's not something you can do yourself. Not a single DIY available.)
Plus the I still have the shocks, springs, and rear sway bar to do on the mini...

I'd love a 4.10 rear in my car, I think that would really wake my car up.
I have grandma gears (3.25). I'm never in the power range unless I ride around in low gears.

Hey, a little off topic but have any of you guys been to the Hyeholde in Moon township? I was thinking about taking my girl there for a romantic evening. I wanted to hear some reviews from the ballers on this forum. Hows the price? atmosphere? food quality?
never heard of it
