    Purge Vacuum Hose

I have been looking for a vacuum line that runs from the Charcoal Canister to a purge valve to the throttle body, does anyone know where to purchase the rubber hose? I have tried using the part numbers written on the hose but I am coming up with nothing on Pelican or realoem. The numbers written on the hose are 101255 and 1717211, but from some research of mine I have discovered some guys use a part number of 13311288284, however, this part number is only a hose of constant diameter, not changing diameter as the hose seen in the pictures. Some people have tried using a regular piece of fuel line that has constant diameter (such as 13311288284) but I wanted to know if anyone has been able to locate the rubber hose shown in the picture? The reason I am trying to find the hose is I am not sure how the car will be impacted if the purge valve is removed from the system.

Here are some additional references, and the pictures provided were taken from one of the conversations on e30tech.com because my camera is broken:

Any advice or help would be great, thanks folks

After doing some more research, I figured out what one of the guys at e30tech.com (colin86325) was talking about. In order to cure the vacuum problems caused by this pesky hose, use the recommended part of 13311288284 and cut the hose to length to fit the purge valve in its normal intermediary position between the Charcoal Canister and the Throttle Body. I hope someone else finds this of help as I did

You are correct. This is a situation where you just have to make something work. The hose we are talking about is the elbow from the throttle body to purge valve. The original elbow was part of the purge valve assembly. The original valve is no longer available. The superseded part does not contain the elbow.

This is an ancient thread I know, and probably a near record thread resurrection, but just tonight I fixed another big split and minor cracking in the rubber elbow in the purge valve assembly with the adhesive cyanoacrylate (super glue).

Degrease, water rinse, dry, backed up by isopropyl alcohol, then a sparing good spread of the adhesve with the tip of a knife, press together and quickly wipe off excess. Cyanoacrylate is the best rubber adhesive, so I'm hoping to flog this original part for a few more years before it needs more attention. Then I'll consider the alternative. I just love that this car is so original, and want to keep it that way.

And here's the absolute best cyanoacrylate (super glue) I've found for gluing rubber together. Loctite 380 "Black Max" https://www.henkel-adhesives.com/us/...80.135423.html
