Nice. Thanks for putting it all together for us that never been to BF.
PS like the musical collage especially the last song
"The test of the machine is the satisfaction it gives you. There isn't any other test. If the machine produces tranquility it's right. If it disturbs you it's wrong until either the machine or your mind is changed. The test of the machine's always your own mind. There isn't any other test."

And funny enough, my e30 was there at 1:45-1:52. Of course the main focus of those two pics was Mariano's car which I was parked next to, but w/e.

Looks great thanks for making it, we will try to do one for the Bav auto show.
I wanted to bring my car out for the fest or show where everyone goes to...in past years it was this. At one point I think they had 15 or so e21s all together.
Doug what color is your E30 M3? Is it black or red?

My M3 is white...I had Fred's nice red one on the right and Mariano's wicked one on the left. Most times when I go to anything with that car in LA or Orange County, I park next to Mariano. I gave up long ago trying to have my car be noticed when it is next to his.

Whose Baur is that at 2:42?

Do you recall the color and model of the other Baur at bimmerfest? We have a white 1982 315 on the google map of the US Baurs that originated from an e21tricord post. The car is from around the Pasadena area, (owner: jinglehyme) but we haven't pinned it down any further than that. I am on an iPad so your video won't load for me, but I seem to recall it had single headlights, correct? But I thought the car in your video looked silver... So maybe this isn't it.

Wat I remember was that it was a 316 single headlights yes, I think the car had only 28 thousand miles, and the color was a very light greenish silver. And also the owner didnt speak much english, he was armenian.
What upp,
Glad u liked the video me and rudy made
That was my first time taking out the baur after the restoration so it was a special day
My BAUR # is 3,527
Hey TomsCAT1 i have a question about my baur care to help me out?
There he is! The man with that beautiful Baur # 3527. Great car! Beautiful job!
I'd be happy to help, if I can..... And if I can't I am sure Jeroen (Baur Guru) or another one of the members here can!
Can you help us with any info on the silver Baur that was parked near you at Bimmerfest? Owner's name, Baur number, anything?

i like the big ass spoiler on the red baur
Can you give us any history on your car? I have another 1982 323i Baur that was in NJ in 2006, and a note indicating that it may have been purchased and shipped to California.... but can't confirm it, and I don't have the Baur number for that car.
Could that be your car? It had a full Zender kit at the time.
Any info n the silver Bau at Bimmerfest?

Well im pretty sure my mom was the first owner of the car becuase my grandpa owned a shipping company here in cali and he shipped that car for my mom, its not the one from NJ it has been a CAli car its whole life.
And i have no idea whose car that greenish silver baur was sorry
but i have a question
on the softop there is a vent at the bottom like a rectangular shape
after restoring the car we have forgotten if there was a piece that covered the vent
do u know if there is a piece that goes there and send me a pic to confirm it
please and thanks
Ok thanks for the info on your car. So it has been in your family.... Since it was new? Or was it imported, as many were, a few years after it was new to get around some of the federal guidelines?
Rudy92 thought the owner of the silver green Baur didn't speak English well, was possibly Armenian, and was possibly from the Glendale area.... But he wasn't real sure. That is all we have, plus his Cali license number. We will keep searching.
As to the soft top.... I am not sure what rectangular vent you refer to. I don't see anything like that on my car, but I am not sure I know what to look for. Do you have a pic of what you mean? Let me know.
