840Ci engine and transmission remapping

Just wondering if anyone has had this done and is it worthwhile/ what results should I expect? My car is the 4.4 m62 v8 so the already proven wokke chips for the m60 won't work.

Seems very few people wana give any info on remapping the M62! I’m keen for this info also, did you ever get yours mapped Blaine? Gearbox and engine? What was your experience and who did you go to?

I used DUDMD (dudmd@yahoo.com) and I put his chip in my 95 840 with a 4.0. I did the manual trans swap so no need for a trans chip. Dmitriy had a chip for either manual or automatic. I had to swap ECUs and he sold me the ECU and the manual chip and told me what to do to make them work with my car and he was right, it was not expensive and it was easy too. He was great to work with and he also helped bypass the EWS. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up. Look him up, he may have what you are looking for.
