    02 540i-6,04 Jetta 1.8T

    FS Complete E34 m50 5spd swap, zf310 and 3.23lsd

    As the title states im selling a complete 5spd swap for a m50 powered e34 it was pulled for a 92 525i and is currently in my 95 525i. Im taking it out because im doing a m60/6speed swap so will no longer need this, Included is trans, pedal assembly, m20 clutch and flywheel (1 year old), manual drive shaft, complete shift linkage minus the shifter(brand new m roadster shifter keeping it for the 6speed) the drive shaft has a new CSB and guibo. Also include is a 3.23 lsd. tranny and diff have apporx 185k on them, trans shifts great, and lsd functions correctly. i do not have any pics because its currently installed in my car, i willl pull everything as soon as i have a buyer. prefer local pick up but can ship im located in Cromwell CT, will also install the 5spd swap if you are local we can work it into the price

    Interested in this but don't have a car to put it in at the moment, would you be willing to let the buyer test drive the car it's currently in?

    I am very interested, but quick question. I have a 95 525it with asc t , will I need to do major elec. Rewire to get everything to work. I have read many of the posts about this type of switch, but just a little unclear on the elec. Side. I could make the trip to Cromwell, would be a good excuse to see some family in Middletown,CT.

    to OP, great deal for sure. the e60 short shifter would definitely top this off well. the ZF trans is awesome.

    to Above. no modifications nessessary bc of traction control. still works fine with the LSD. the wiring for the rest of the swap is easy to do and is covered by a couple threads here. the best one is attack eagle's thread. my medium case diff car has an LSD in it right now. its also got acs+t. granted my traction doesnt work lol. but thats another issue. oh well

    There is some very minor elec work you must do the asc plus t will not be a problem my car has it
