    Do these fit?

    Hey 6'er friends -
I put these up on craigslist as I upgraded to the style 42's on my shark. I sold them with the tires which are 225/60R15. They came straight off my 87 L6. I guy bought them for his 87 635csi which had 8 series rims with spacers. Anyway, he took them to "his guy" and they confirmed they didn't fit the car. I'm confused and am still confident they fit.
Any thoughts? Here is the craigslist add to give you reference: http://ventura.craigslist.org/pts/2899122102.html

silly question... did they try to "fit" them with the spacers in place?

They should fit. Might need hub centrics on them

Yeah - It's weird. I just need to know if the specs fit the ride. On my L6 they didn't need hub centric rings

well, based on that model number I found this which shows fitment. Clearly not an E39 wheel that would necessitate the hub rings.

Definitely need to follow up as to how it "doesn't fit".

Also, if he had spacers on it, the hub might have some corrosion which might make it seem like they won't fit. Just a thought.
