The original e34 pdc and e36 before face have one black/white wire signal to turn off the pdc after 55m traveled or above 30km/h. For now i am unable to find e34 pdc pinout to tell you which pin exactly is, but i am sure without it it wont turn off.
I am not sure if you connect it to E38 pdc module with I-Bus if it will work, but i will test it and tell you the result, if not somebody write it before me.

So the pin for speed signal is number 5 SW/WS
Unfortunatelly noting seems to happen when connected to the E38 PDC Module.
No matter speed or travelled distance the PDC is always on.
Not sure if possible and how it can be changed to react to this input. Coding or some hardware modification.
Hey. I could ask for a pdc module diagram with e38 front to back. Because I read the topic and partial information I have. That is, the module must be with a black and gold connector. The weight must be given for 14 and 18 contacts. Add resistor. And what about the rest of the signals. Because which pin does the speed signal enter? That pdc would turn itself off. If possible, please send them to emil gabrys17@interia.pl
You sure the E36 module PFL had that function? As that function is specifically for the front PDC. Rear sensors simply turn on/off with reverse light being on or off. So there is no need for a speed/distance covered treshold.
But I have never worked with the old system, so who knows?
