    Have a beer instead Miche

Ofcourse you do ! If not, that should be the first thing you learn

Nah, haven't been drinking for years actually.. though it would be good with a bear in this nice warm weather

Never heard the terms "salad shooters" or "saw blades" for wheels before. Is this a regional or generational thing? Interesting

Yes these are salad shooters, they came in 16 x 8 or 16 x 9.5 and terrible offsets. I had a set for a bit but never ran them...

Sawblades are the 17in similar looking version. Both came off vette's

Had such on my blazer back in the days.

On a side note, that car had the worst ride comfort ever.

And worst/numbest brake, steering, and throttle feel. That generation S10/S15 was the biggest POS ever. That 4.3L ran forever, though.

Sawblades and salad shooters are fugly, bad offset and heavy wheel. The 16" weighs 23lbs...that is about what an 18" M-Par weighs.

Forever is an understatement. The LB4 is indestructable.

True. the brakes couldn't even lock the front wheels on polished ice (the earliest form of ABS?).

Just noticed I could see my E34 through the window of the S10.

True but the staggered 16x8.5/9.5 wheels were only offered in the Z51 handling package back in 88. The regular salad shooters were 16x9.5 all around...found a set of these for dirt cheap..can some one on here do a chop of these wheels on a lowered E34???

There's already a picture of an e34 with sawblades in this thread once.

I know ive seen that picture..I wonder if someone has a picture of the entire car. Just by looking at the front fender and one wheel is not enough. I want to see how the rear of the car looks..

Thread revival !! Personally I dig these wheels and I just found a similar set on CL for a good deal. I think these are still " sawblade/salad shooters". Aside from offset I think these are perfect... thoughts everyone?

Just something fun to do, worst case scenario I can sell them to a VDUBer

Those are the newer saw blades..to run these on our cars we need Uber huge spacers..even if you can get these spacers theres always the question of safety.

    Lame.

I'm all about uniqueness, but some folks take it too far. GM wheels belong on GM cars.

Just my $0.02. It's your ride, and you gotta drive it!

Just a thought... Spacers are to pricey and as mentioned questionable. Always up for something new. different stokes for different folks. : rofl
