that car looks pretty clean for 105k. it is difficult to say what a fair price without knowing what parts needs replacement. if you are not in a hurry, i'm sure you can find something with less mileage in the same price range. i can't say i know of any independent shops in the area, but you might do a search in the california forum. good luck...

Hmm, that seems a little high. I just bought my 1997 M3/2 (12/4/03) for $15k with 77k miles. It was also slightly modded with 18" ACS Type III wheels, ACS suspension, clears all around, and some other goodies. Car was in pristine condition! Clear title. I had it shipped from NC to CA for $825. Well worth it. Especially seeing that cars on the West Coast are worth about $2k-3k more than on the East Coast.

As far as inspection goes, I went online to find a local Euro shop to inspect it. Gave them a call, gave the seller directions and he brought it there. Followed up with the shop and the owner said everything was perfect. I'd suggest doing that. You'll be able to find more deals.

Autotrader.com is where I found mine also. Good luck!

They are will to close the deal at $13k. But I think it can go lower than that. Somewhere at $12k. The car drove fine. All panels still have Vin tags in place. No signs of being rear ended.

Condition of the driver seat is very good. The leather of the driver seat is much better than my previous car with 76k miles on it
