This week's Cars in the News photo gallery by Matt Trott is devoted entirely to historic cars that were shown at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, an annual concours sponsored by BMW and the Grand Hotel Villa d'Este on Italy's Lake Como. The organizers modestly state: "At the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este visitors breathe an air of authentic aristocracy, rather than the slightly commercial atmosphere of other events."
