    Steamrolling Whatever I see

I’m having a bad, bad day
It’s about time I get my way,
    Steamrolling whatever I see,
    Huh, Despicable me……

Well, Having a bad day no, Steamrolling….. YES.
Must represent the NON-M crowd with fat wheels and rubber.
    Dforce LTW-5’s in double stagger
    17X8.5 Et40 245/40/17
    18X10 ET43 285/30/18
    NO SPACERS and NO RUB.

Did a couple hours of test fitting with Terry and the guys at Vorshlag to ensure this fitment would be spot on and it is perfect in my eyes. I got this setup from them as a dealer obviously, and I could not have asked for a more professional, and just plain cool group of people... I look forward to working with them as much as I can in the future. So if you are on the fence about Vorshlag or there parts... GO FOR IT.
Feel free to comment pos or neg, just excuse the dirt, didn’t have time to wash her.
See if you can find the other new mods while you are at it.

Did you add the chrome hatch lift yourself or did it come from the dealer that way?

Non-M's have the chrome lift handle and the license plate on the bumper.

    How's the handling Sky?

Hvnt pushed it yet... wearing off mold release still. but accelerates much better than old setup. Light wheels make a difference.

yeah I can sympathize about the steamroller. I only have 265's on my rear. I don't think even with the engine being sharked and other things that I could burn the wheels at a light. Just too damn much rubber on the road!!

Yeah, but my wheel/ tire combo is about 4 lbs light in the rear and 7 lbs in the front compared to my old setup with baby 225's

I went from stock 16's with 7" wide 225/50/16 I doubt I saved any weight. someday I will weigh them and find out. let me ask the Tire Gurus how wide of a tire would you recommend on 9" wheels? 265, 275, 285?
Last weekend I rolled my rear fenders and flared them ever so slightly.

It does look awesome. I would have never thought of doing 17 in front and 18's in the rear. (kinda sounds dirty) what have you done for more hp?

Right now, an eisenman race exhaust, dinan intake and tune, but this winter holds new beginnings for the ole girl to be divulged at a later time.

I like the double stagger, it gives the muscle look, and save me money on front tires.

Just hankook ventus v12's. No track time for me, so they are a good mix of cost vs performance.

Hot. Looks great. You confirm what I think, z3 coupes have the same room in the rear as m coupes, just different offset.

    Looks great sky!

My 3.0 coupe now has 17x8.5 LTW5's with 245 v12s on all 4 corners. I'm going to autox this Sunday at Teaxas A&M for the first time in 2 years...and the first time ever in my own RWD car. Way easy to break loose!

FWIW, those tires are very easy to spin

They're damn durable too... I've done countless burnouts, drifts, and one track day on them... not to mention over 12,000 highway miles and they're only about half way worn down.

Looks sweet! Glad someone with a non-M has finally put real rubber on the back considering they have the same space in the back as an M just higher offset.
