    Lightbulb BMWMOFO Grille Badge?

Trying to add a poll to collect votes. Also tell me how many you want. Tim or Jed, can we route the money through the MOFO paypal account to collect money and make the order?

Recap: this is for a custom "BMWMOFO" grill badge kind of like the BMWCCA badge? That could be an awesome way to show off MOFO pride with a little class, too.

Jed, Tim, others - any idea on how to go about this? I'd definitely buy 2 (in anticipation of future BMWs, or to keep on shelf with one on car). Something pretty simple but classy. Maybe the outline of Oklahoma with Bavarian flag colors and BMWMOFO in the middle. Here's the CCA badge for point of reference...

Here are three options we have mocked up. Other ideas are welcome, but I'd rather get this done in time for reppin' this spring.

    Option 1:

    Option 2:

    Option 3:

The badges are metal with a hard enamel coating. My quote is from "QualityLapelPins.com". I found them doing a quick Google search for "Custom grille badge", so I have no idea what other vendors are out there. If one of you has a sweet hookup, it's no skin off my back if we use someone else. Their website looks like they do high quality stuff.

Here are the price points they quoted my by email:

There is price break at 35 badge and another one at 50. I've listed the prices below.

25 custom hard-enamel cloisonné grille badges in a 2.5x3.5 inch size are $28.95 each, plus $12.00 for shipping. The total cost is $735.75

35 custom hard-enamel cloisonné grille badges in a 2.5x3.5 inch size are $26.95 each, plus $16.00 for shipping. The total cost is $959.25

50 custom hard-enamel cloisonné grille badges in a 2.5x3.5 inch size are $21.95 each, plus $19.00 for shipping. The total cost is $1,116.50

Let's vote and get it on!!!

I really like these mockups! I have a quote at just under $30 per. If we can finalize a design we can get these going.

Is there a minimum order required? What material are they made from? Is there a limitation on design and/or colors? Sorry for all the questions. I just want to give my input knowing all the information. Can't wait to see this idea come to life.

Good questions, all. I have an email in re quantities needed. I'll ask about the others.

I kind of think we should come up with a few designs we like and put it to a MOFO poll. It'd be kind of cool to have the "official" badge, IMO.

another idea. the minis put grill badges on ALLthe time. if you look on eBay, they sell magnetic grill badges that bolt on to the grill kind of like the BMWCCA ones do. the cool thing about the magnetic ones is that the 'badge' just sticks on it magnetically. if you had several designs, you could change them out as you please. i might order one and test fit it on my bmw. if it works its an option. if it doesnt, at least i know it will fit my mini.

I agree. Can we see about having the black stop at the silver line? If so, then my vote will go for said design.

That will be no problem. Go ahead and vote for #1 then. If #1 wins, we will do a run-off if necessary for the design with and without the black line. (FWIW, I like it without the extra black lines, too.)
