Last time I rented one the person charged me $30.00 for a day $10.00 each additional day and I left a cash deposit of whatever the cost of the tool was (forgot that dollar amount). He also included a heat gun with the rental, the $10 one from Harbor Freight. I thought this was a pretty good deal, those fender rollers work great!

I just googled "fender roller rental pa" and your thread came up first in the search results. So yes, I just joined this site to ask you about renting this fender roller. I didn't see a way to send you a PM. I live in Carlisle and need to get my fenders on my Maxima rolled ASAP because I just got new tires and they are rubbing badly in the back and I don't want to shred them. I can't find any places nearby that rent them and don't feel like waiting 5 days to wait for someone halfway across the country to ship one to me. I would be happy to Paypal you quickly including a deposit if you are willing to ship this to me quickly.

I made it happen on my old e36 m3 (17x9 et 20 rears 235/40/17), you will need a little more than just the roller (still need it though), certainly doable.

    May be easier on 17x8

I should just man up and do flares for a huge tire when I go single Turbo

Huge tires are the way to go, I run 315's, nothing like 450+ whp and traction (for the most part).

Do you have flares or just a roll and pull?

I don't have 315s nor an M3 but with John's tool I was able to fit 265/30-19 for the rears and 245/35-19 for the fronts (on my E46).

Sorry, I was talking about having tires with traction, I run that tire size on my Cobra.

How do you like those tires? BF's correct? I was thinking about a set of them for my next set of wheels. I am happy to see a lot of people having good results with rolling fenders. Can't go wrong, it is a very nice tool!

Too soon to give a review. Right, they are BFGoodrich g-Force T/A. I have driven with them for less than 60 miles
So far so good. Good grip. I live on a very hot climate area. Yes, as many reviews mention, they are noisy on the road but nothing to be distracting besides... A/C on and wndows closed, you can't hear a thing. Then again, when I drive with windows down, the noise does not bother me.

    yes
Used a set Geforce T/A's on my vette for street tires. Not a bad tire at all. I put them on during a DE at Summit Point when it looked like rain. Ended up not raining so I got stuck on the track with the Geforces on instead of my Hoosiers!! I was pleasantly surprised how well they performed. Of course after about 4 laps they were overheated and worthless but hey, not bad!!

Noise was average, wear was great and cold/wet traction were pretty good too.

Finished up Saturday, Rolled the two rears on Friday.

The roller made the job very easy. It only took ~20 minutes or so on each fender, and bonus my style 5s don't rub in the rear anymore.

Thanks John for the quick shipping, and of course returning my deposit!

This is highly recommended to anyone contemplating using a Louisville slugger for similar work.
