Anyone going to Mostport tomorrow?

So it's been a while. I'm in the city and would love to organize a meet. We can talk to the e38 and the Audi S4 guys as well as that makes the turnout even more exciting. So lets get some date suggestions from people, I'm very flexible atm.

I'm based in Toronto for now. I'll be transferred to Calgary, but the timing on that isn't set in stone yet, so i can assume i've got at least the summer here!

Anybody go to Tedfest last weekend? Surprised I didn't see it announced here, so I missed it. There was a Laguna Green CSi there last yr.

I was at Tedfest. Had only heard about it a few days prior. Never been to it before. 3 8ers were there - a Calypso 850i, a Laguna 850i/6 and mine.

I did not even know Ted fest was last weekend. I was there last year with both cars and I think we had like 5 8's in total and it was the first time ever they had one.

I'm working until 3:00pm Saturday. I can come by after though. Or would Sunday be a better day for everyone?

How about Sunday morning. Early morning when the city streets are still fresh and clean and bit crowded. And a cup of coffee tastes best.

Last meetup I went to was at Lakeshore and Mississauga rd. Does that location work for everyone?

I'd vote for more northyork ish if we could, but I'm flexible. I've been really buys, and only just got a chance to get back online.

Likewise. I work in the Don Mills/Eglinton area. Depending on how far we go from there, I might just leave my car at work.

With the Indy cars in town and Lakeshore is closed and Gardiner is normally half closed and Jazz festival closing the Beach area, Salsa fest is shutting down St. Clair. Another fest shutting down the Danforth. Protests shutting down Bloor/Bay
So what the heck, let's do our own 8fest and shutdown somewhere that is still open.
Early morning still the best time considering all the activities in the city. But WHERE?

On Sunday morning there is the Cars n Coffee meet at Bayview Village this is in the North York area

No meeting that I know of. I have seen the cars and coffee at Bayview in the past and they usually have some cool stuff. Even though that meet is like two blocks from my home, I am not able attend. I do recommend the rest of you guys go
