Bought my dream wheels! E39 alpina content

Hey guys, today I was fortunate enough to be able to pounce on these... my absolute dream wheel for the e39. Authentic Alpina Softlines, two piece, with polished lips! Sorry for the awful pictures but anyway...

Thanks to Jeff for a lovely set of wheels. I couldn't be more pleased.

Also if anyone is interested in a set of bbs style 42's, check out my signature

    Thanks!
    Dan

I used to love Alpinas (the non multipiece). These are great quality, but I just don't feel them on your car. It makes it look too old man, like 7 series or something. Doesn't convey "sporty".

It's hard to convey in pictures but I think they do look sporty in person. The polished lips really help that

I feel the same way, Alpina to me conveys class rather than sport, which is fine because I feel the same way about the E39. (with the M5 being the obvious exception/perfect balance) Great job man, it's a truly beautiful thing.

I'd love to. Crazy expensive though

    Super nice.
That is what I was thinking too, the bolts look identical to my old RSII's titanium bolts and the lips are setup the same way. These wheels are probably pretty light.
