Well I decided to take apart the module that controls central locking located under the lower dash panel right beside the hood release. My car would not unlock automatically but I could hear the module making a sound while I turned the key so I opened her up to take a look.
Notice the prong sticking straight up near my finger nail. Anyway it is supposed to be soldered to the object to the right of it (resistor? I'm not an electronics expert), so I joined them together again and now I have power locks. Thought I would share and maybe help some people out with the same issue.

Yeah I had to do the same with mine. I had a pathway on the circuit board that was burned, a little solder and all is well.
Glad you got yours fixed.

Just did this one my car. Central locking is a necessary feature on a car with so many doors.
Thanks for posting this fix!
No problem. 6 years later and it still working great.
