Last week I replaced the two camshaft position sensors, cleared the codes, and all was good.
Since then I installed the BMW Performance Air Intake, but that was the only significant change.
This morning I started the car and was reading the PLX manual with the car idle, and 3-5 minutes in the SES light came on, I was alreading hearing a faint knock..
Used the iPhone to read the code and got this:
I cleaned the code, I also have the passenger airbag light on, dunno if that is the "unknown" or not.
I opened the engine compartment and the knock seems to be coming from under the intake cover...
Went out for a 2-3 mile drive and code did not show up again.
Any ideas/suggestions?

Did you change both intake and exhaust CP sensors?

Are you 100% positive you replaced them with OEM sensors?

I am asking my supplier that question now, if not, I'll re-replace them, if yes, can it be related to the rattle?
EDIT: OEM

Okay so I'm not sure what your rattle is related to

OEM can mean a lot of things, sadly. It's better to know a manufacturer name or the vendor you purchased from to verify.
I've read about the camshaft sensors being finicky, especially aftermarket brands.
Ive never changed mine, nor read a DIY, but is there a chance that the plugs could have some road grit in them? Disconnect them and tap or blow any debris out.
