3.7 litre engine? B34 or B35 head? Ever dyno it? Dogleg close ratio 5 speed or 5 speed overdrive? Finally, how did it perform?

these are nice cars.... Stancework guys do you even drive your cars around? Ridiculously low and bad for sheetmetal if driven on the streets....

How much does a nice low mile 72-74 3.0 CS or CSi go for these days?

I ended up picking up the black E28 below. It has a metric mechanic 3.7 (i think and hope) motor. Needs more work than i thought though, so it sits.



It came with pictures and receipts. I have a 635csi with the same base motor, and the MM pulls much much stronger. It is night and day.

On the pricing link, http://www.metricmechanic.com/prices...ng-engines.php, I have the 3700 HiFlo ST Sport Engine (270HP, $6,995). My receipt was pieced together and adds up to roughly that price.

I'm putting my street engine together myself so will add costs up. Price for 200kw engine seems reasonable. Torque from a 3.7 litre should be great!

Thank you, I'm happy with how the car looks, and with the rare color it does get some attention.

The springs lowered it over an inch from other cars I've seen.
