A photo from a Senior Six Registry event that I was at last weekend.
My Miata is sitting in the background. LOL.
It's all filth! Awesome pictures!
Killer Pics You Guys!! If only we could post the smell of the old leather interiors.. people might get why we are nuts for these rides!
This one was for sale on EBay Germany July 2011, The asking price from Euros to USD was about $28,000 +/-

Some pictures from the SoCal Vintage BMW (www.socalvintagebmw.com) event this past weekend. About 300 cars showed up.

He's my E3, following complete restoration, which took 2 years;
When I'd finished restoring it, I drove it to Munich, literally the day after I finished it;
I went with two of my pals in their E9 CSL and M5;
Another UK E3 3.0Li, puctured with my car at BMW Festival in UK;
These were from a show in Bounmouth;
It always causes a crowd to gather;
My pals E9 with Concorde;
My Dad had an E3 3.0Si as a Police car in the UK in the early '70's;
My Dad was pictured in this iconic BMW advert, with his car - he's the chap standing on the far side of the car looking up the road;
I've done 3,000 miles in it since finishing the resto at the begining of June - loving it!
Cheers,
Martin.
Martin,
Wow, the car looks awesome! Good job. The Alpina wheels look great on it too (I assume they're 7" and 8" with 205/55-16 front and 225/50 rear-16?). Any pictures of the interior?
The police car version with your dad and all is incredible too. Is he still around? My dad bought an E3 new in 1972, and I bought it from him in 1980. Sadly I sold the car in 1994, but it was in great shape at that time.
Cheers,
Chuck

I used to think these cars looked like poo, but after seeing this pic I really want one.
With a later M30B34, megasquirt, and a holset HX55 ala good'n'tight
It would be like this,
Driving around all, see ricer, smoke ricer

-76 2002 turbo project

Here's the 'franken c' I had a few years back. It's in cali now. d2d Houston to Austin in well under 2 hours with the ac freezing me. Busted out two rear windscreens before we figured out how to stiffen the rear end. Here with my M5Tclone, before I bought my Elekta. Thought this thread needed to have it in here
And a few trips to the Texas Motor Speedway
wow nice
!
I remember this car from the August 2000 Roundel. Not sure if it's the same car in post #31, looks like it though.

Beautiful cars. In the right lighting, the greenhouses on E9s just look spectacular (like that Fjord one above).

Just gorgeous cars. I can't say that I would be ashamed to own one....*sigh* maybe one day.
