    Hello, so i disassembled my combi - i only have the mainboard ... but there is no M35080
    I have chips with the Names:
    - 1x 10393 4S86 | 8 pins (PROGRAMMABLE READ-ONLY MEMORIES) my favorite !
    - 2x MLX10407 (5-Channel Gauge Driver with Serial Link)
    - 1x A82C250 5C2M2 nG518 (CAN Bus)
    - 1x HC14 AS321 Un605 21F ??
    - 1x ELMOS 10020B 2010C5151A ??
    - 1x 15101B 33C 5171A ??
    - 1x MC912DG128ACPV (Microcontroller)
    - 1x PCF8576CH (LCD Driver)

    perhaps, anybody can help me i with Chip is the VIN and the kilometers

    Interesting, it uses a similar microcontroller to the E46 LCMs (freescale MC912 series). There is a 1-2 kb EEPROM and 128k flash memory embedded on that module.

    Ah ok, i can read out the bin and kilometers with pasoft with the E46 algorithm ?
    Perhaps the vin and km is stored in this chip ?
    How it function on the E46 to change this values ?

    Ok I know this is an old topic, but hey, I used search, and I'm sure Terra knows by now, but in case anyone reads:

    From 9/2002 the M3's got the MK60 DSC module as well. I've coded M Track mode to a few E46 M3 cars, and all had the MK60 DSC unit.

    Yep. And it turns out the non-M (325/330 anyway) DMEs do broadcast oil temperature. There was just a ton of misinformation out there back in the day.
