    2007 BMW 335i vs 2008 BMW 335xi

    Hello all,

I'm very excited to say I will be getting my first BMW this Tuesday once it's done going through the certification process! However, I'm in a very precarious situation and would deeply value your input. I was originally supposed to look at the 07 335i (23k miles) but they accidentally showed me the 08 335xi (26k miles) and we put a down payment to secure first option on the 335xi with the 335i price attached ($31,995). My question to all you is which car performs better on the road, the i or xi?? I could probably get the i for $30k but it sounds like since they already screwed up royally on the xi there won't be much wiggle room. The xi also comes with navigation but I could care less about that; I just want the best performing car.

Definitely the i. There is no need for you to have an xi in Tulsa, OK. The rear wheel drive will make the car more fun to drive for sure. Tell me they are both 6 speeds?

The non-xi is about 200lbs lighter and has much better steering feel. I had an xi loaner once and while the AWD launches were nice, I definitely prefer how RWD feels and behaves.

    I think they're both automatic 6 cylinder

335i outperforms the xi in every performance category hands down.
