    Error Code 155 MS S50 / Control-Module Fault, fault memory, master

    Hi there,

    I have a '99 Z3M Coupe S50B32 with a MS-S50/FLASH Siemens ECU BMW Part Coded:12147833150
    After I reset all faults I turn off the ignition and wait for 10 secs and turn it on again. After ignition is on, there is an error appear on the diagnose screen;
    "0x0125009B - 155 MS S50 Control Modul Fault, fault memory, master "
    Also the temperature sensor air -under the air collector - (which is new and BMW part #13621725323") is reading -48C degrees on ignition. We checked the sensor lines and changed temperature sensor air. The ECU is not chipped "not even opened once before" but there is still sth. wrong with the memory of the Control Modul.
    I'm really stuck here, I don't want to send the ECU for a repair to BMW cause I don't know if it must be repaired there or not

    Waiting for an expert solution

    Check the DME relay and fuses to ensure all are in good condition and ensure there are not short circuits in the wiring to the DME.

    Between DME and the temperature sensor air #13621725323 the lines are working correctly also we checked the fuses. On Monday I'll check the DME relay and also the fuses again. Which fuse specially I have to check BTW ?

    I searched RealOem & ETK and finally found sth. about the relay for start.

    Mini Relay No Contact Black x 4 61361393412

    FOR FUEL PUMP
    FOR LAMBDA PROBE
    FOR START RECOGNITION
    FOR AIR PUMP
    I'll check them and will try the new relays and let you know
