    E38 Diagnostics/Troubleshooting Codes

    Here you go. Table showing codes by Engine and transmission type.

    EML is the throttle control module for M73 engines.

    DME is engine management module for any engine.

    EGS is transmission module.

    Make sure to watch the year and module type to get the proper code as they can sometimes shift based on year.
