I'm not a huge fan of the 107 mercs they look awesome they just don't handle that great and aren't the most peppy cars ... I've driven a 280 4spd and it was pretty fun I love the looks of the slc's. There's not much to compare a 6 to they are just really great cars nothing like them

Because i went to a E31 840. After owning 8 different e24's, to be honest they do not compare to the 8 series. It is the ultimate BMW big coupe, and as much as i love e24's, they seem so dated around the e31. This month marks my third year having my 840, and i love it more than ever.

I just sold my e24. It was one of the best built cars I've ever owned. But, I moved on. I never had to do anything to that car , it ran and ran and ran, great ride. I bought a m3 convert. It needs very little, but I can again get my fingers dirty, fix things, and make the car better for the next owner. Thats what I do. I have a to-do list. The ride wont be the same and I know that, but I trade cars often, looking for the next one. So, where's that 1/2 inch breaker bar..
Lets get the party started before it's my bedtime.

I just left the ranks of the twin turbo 911, expensive toy to maintain but was a huge amount of illegal fun on the highways. Now on to a spirited driving 635csi. LOL20161001_181816.jpg

I had an e24 euro for quite a while, but it was just sitting, not getting used. That was about 20 years ago. Picked up the e28 M5..while not as sexy, it is an awesome car. One day, I will have another e24, prefer an M635, the e31 might tempt me away though

Tried to sell mine about a year ago for a better 6. An '88 factory 5-speed with 100k. And a no rust Texas car. Couldn't get people to come look at mine. Only 2 came to look and both from out of state. I've got that pesky rust just ahead of the rear wheel. No other rust what so ever, but I think that's what scared them off.

Then the guy who was selling the '88 decided to raise his price on me. Saying that his research with the 5-speed his car was solid gold. That was my que to forget about dude.
