So your not selling it? Thank god.
this is epic! hats off to the ammount of effort thats gone in to this and cant wait to see the finished project
dude those exhaust welds are epic.. lmfao
"Lamborghini, the tractor maker, wanted to figure out why his Ferrari's clutch kept crapping out (PITA, cost a lot of money). He complained to Ferrari, and Enzo didn't do anything. Lamborghini discovered it was the same, much cheaper clutch used in his tractors. The rest is history..."
some times when you have to build your own parts on the floor of your garage with limited tools and funds you just have to make S*** happen
May not be some sexy tig welded Ti or stainless but something tells me that may not have been an option
Any updates on the build?

thanks guys,
to the exhaust: yup, intense is an understatement, but like TunerMT said, with an angle grinder, no money, and a bit of metal, gotta get sheit to work. It's not the final exhaust, but will work to house the 02 sensor and exit some stink out the rear for now. That is of course when and if it's running.
as for updates
I"m having a battle with this old megasquirt I"ve got.
I think my 3 vb921 ign drivers are burnt out, thus the no sparky I"m dealing with. then my darnded vr sensor stopped working and I'm getting no sync so it won't spark anyways.
anyone wanna donate another standalone system with a lead harness
did get a diff flange to match my driveshaft. what a pita bmw making 2 different 6 bolt flanges and 2 different 6 bolt driveshafts under the same part number.
and also found a cover for my gargantuan distributor delete
other than that, I'm fried on this electrical nightmare of an old megasquirt..... gotta build up some motivation here again to get back on it
you got this, easy
This things sick. Hope u get better luck and finish it soon.

Any updates? This thing is outstanding.

Thanks for the motivations
as for updates,
been laggin with all the holidays, along with fixin my darnded daily that decided to take a poop. But it's all go after a timing belt and wiring issues. (what you get for buying super cheap transportation)....
But the truck is all tidied mechanically with the drivetrain all bolted and ready to go, now just need to get new ign drivers and a vr sensor and get this thing running already with the holidays passed, I might actually get crackin again ......
Damn i hope so

so I got my megasquirt all back together with new bosch ign drivers soldered in and what not, pick n pulled a few different vr sensors.....
but for the life of me I can't get it to sync up again......
it was reading the vr on the 60-2 crank wheel, but now I get nothing no matter what I gap it to.
maybe just say eff it and throw the distributor back in with the hall sensor just to get her running.
I feel like a electrical deficient tardsickle with a huge paperweight that likes to get pushed in and out of the garage. if it weren't a truck with the ability to throw heaps of junk in the back, I'd liken to throw it in the trash
god i cant wait to see this thing, i call you have to give me a ride along when your done haha
updates?
^ it's done!!!!
just kidding. but its way,way too close to being done for comfort....
I have been following this build for awhile now, usually not my cup of tea but I have alot of respect for your work! keep it up I cant wait to see it finished!
dude, you posted over on the msextra forums a while back as i recall, did you have no luck yet? think i responded but never heard much more after that
you can test hte spark outputs from inside ms anyways
Also, theres quite a few of us in the forced induction forum on here ranging with limited ms experience (me) to people like matt cramer and jon snails who have built and run more megasquirt boxes than ive had cars.

Thanks everyone.....
yup, got her posted over on the ms forums, had some insight but just got completely fried without being able to find the culprit of no vr signal.
finally had a good swing of luck and had a super kind fellow mser decide to accept my box and give it a once over . From the sounds of it much more than a once over has been going on. So hopefully we'll be able to play with some vroom vroom when it's all said and done. Other than that, just been helping another buddy djelly with his mad subaru drifter........
I'd be happy to give rides Miles, you might have to share some wheels though as all my extras are gonners.
Yo Eric, so when do we get to see the sr'd e30 up on here?
oh yea, the hood got some color from my 6 year old with krylon in her seemingly permanent downtime
so for motivation sake, not another update from me til it's a video of this thing driving
