Is that rear window out of a toyota ?
    yup....

Painting the cage as we speak, so needless to say I'm running it. if it ever makes it to fd, which I'm much more likely to put it into a wall before I get that far, then we'll see. chopping out and redoing wouldn't be too bad (it's hard enough as it is knowing how much better I could do now that I've learned what I have while doing it the first time round) ....but at this point, I'm just trying to get this thing done :d

By no doubt in my mind, I trust the cage to keep me safe tho......

so all this imput on cage but none on sequential vs bank fire injection??????

You won't lose power with batch injection. Sequential is nice for idle quality and being able to run LOL huge injectors. Large injectors can't handle being opened that many times quickly, they need the sequential.

Forget the cage, that car won't pass their tech in any form. Too much cutting of the unibody.

Hey can you post up pictures of the spindles? I somehow lost them plus my desktop took a dump so I don't have any pictures of the modded spindles anymore.

    thanks for the compliments sirs...

and the confirmation of batch injection....I suppose once the motor is running at a decent rpm, the fuel atomization and what not will still occur.
It just seems as if some cylinders will be robbed of fuel while others are rich since I'll only be reading the a/f mixture of all the cylinders combined....
after further reading it appears as if this motor and the m30 runs batch stock anyway.....

da love knucks for ya. can't wait to use em again once this thing is running.

Yup stock is batch. Cylinders shouldn't have too much of a difference since the fuel will just be sitting on the valve waiting for it to open with batch.

E36 OBD1 is batch injection and they run smoothly and can make upwards or 550whp on the stock computer.

Ya just like everybody is saying batch is totally fine, the only thing that will suffer compared to sequential is idle and economy which i highly doubt your to worried about for this build
Rat rod truck build is sick, looking forward to coming back to AZ and putting together my next project with ya!!!
We'll also be sure to get that thing boosted while i'm there...

Cool build, we plan to build our e30 drift truck at some point this year.

My only realy question is why u chose a s38b35 as the powerplant? While it's a cool motor in it's own respect, it doesn't have that much power potential NA, unless you have DEEP pockets. FI is difficult to run and even more costly. Just thinking that an m/s50/2 with a turbo or supercharger would've been a better investment.

How much did you pay for the motor?
