Pics as requested (despite me being Terrible with a camera Phone )
Recently bought another 325e, stumbled on this one in the back woods of a pretty rough area near Dallas.
Black on Black.... and now the good stuff
It has over $20,000+ of maintenance history
(done mostly by Bavarian Motors here in Dallas)
PERFECT body condition, not a single spot of rust,
every book that it was sold with,
Original bill of sale and signed papers (paid cash by check all in full)
(bought by a Michael Irvin at a BMW dealership in Arlington TX near the stadium)
full tool kit,
perfect interior (except cracked dash)
Working radio/cassette player with Security code
full set of 15x8 Borbets
Original Window Sticker
Accessories handbook,
arm rest w/ cup holders,
mint manual sunroof
Engine bay SOooo clean i would eat off of it
As well as the underside of the car
Oh! and the ECU recall had been done and have documentation
did have some bad though:
Shocks and struts need to be replaced,
passenger side interior door handle took a dive
hood latch release on the inside is broke (acquired screw driver mod)
could use better speakers
how much did i pay for this car?
all in all 400.00 bucks (four hundred)
the goal will eventually be 2.7i turbo, fat rubber, but i feel all the other stuff should come before the engine gets out of hand
PAPERWORK ITEMS
Vehicle Price
Sticker:
VSA dealer paperwork
"Michael Irvin" repair Orders.. each over $750
Original Sales contract
$10,000+ stack worth of Service Receipts

Do what you want, its your car
Do you know if it is the Michael Irvin (football player)? It's not as if he's the only person with that name... I just did a whitepages search, and there are currently 18 Michael Irvins with a listed phone number living in Dallas. Aside from that, a pro football player buying a three year old 3-series (an eta, of all models)? Did you also check out the Google maps street-view for that address? Not exactly a "baller" location....
Anyway, I'm not saying it's not him, but do you know for sure?
oh nah no idea yet, just doin some searching.
He has an e30 M3 he bought shortly after super bowl ring 1 (google michael irvin M3)
and this would have been around the same time when he very very first signed on to the cowboys, so 23k for a car would have been around 25% of his starting pay (most likely?)

Who's Micheal Irvin?
I am guessing a pro-Football player?
Current fleet:
1999 BMW e36 M3
1999 BMW e36 328is with rotary valve engine head
1999 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight
1990 Jeep Comanche Eliminator
1962 Austin Healey Sprite
Does this look like the house a pro football player would live in?

Does the signature on the paperwork look like his signature? This should be his real signature (do your own research)

Ask me about Canadian DRL compatible LED Kits
If it was the football player M. Irvin, don't ever get stopped by the police. There would be so much cocain residue in there I think the dog would die.
Lets get the party started before it's my bedtime.
FWIW, he would have already played two full seasons by January 1990 when he bought the car. His contract at that time was $1.8 million per year. Even after taxes and agent commission, he still had a load of cash. Of course, he probably blew a lot on coke and bling, but still.... Maybe he bought it for a friend or relative or something. Or maybe it was just a different Michael Irvin altogether.
Check to see if there is a pencil in the glove box with teeth marks.
$400 and it was driveable? Are you kidding?
talked to a buddy of mine today at a local large radio station, and it was confirmed not his =( ... so no selling cocaine remnants to buy parts.
however his first e30 was lapisblau and was also an eta, so thats kind of neat, floating around somewhere i imagine these days.
and yeah, only paid 400 bucks when all was said and done, I washed it today and it just needs a good detail and some very very minor stuff and it'll be a monster.
Ive got a chipped ECU and that CF Intake from KAMotors here on the boards incoming.
Looking for a 3.46 LSD, bilstein shocks/struts and H&R race springs to hold me over until i get more funds available

My son used to drive Jon Voits LeBaron. Quite a car.
nah just really really dusty, i took it and washed it a couple of days ago and its in really nice condition paint wise.
Ive got a chipped ecu and the KAMotors CF intake on the way
saving for a full 2.7i budget stroker conversion from a forum member who has the whole set up (for 750 bucks picked up) up to and including new head gasket
studs bolts etc etc being kicked in.
Next is going to have to be some suspension thinking bilstein sport shocks w/ H&R race springs (generic stuff it seems like) maybe some drop hats on the struts
