    e30 Headlight Switch in e21

Hello. I am wondering if its possible to install an e30 headlight switch in an e21 and with how much modification? I recently acquired an 83 e21 and the left side running lights dont work (both front left turn signal running light and rear left tail running light). I was told that it was the headlight switch and was even given an e30 switch to install and it would fix the problem. how much is involved with doing this? Thanks.

Yeah...don't go right to the switch. Probably a fuse/ground/connector/bulb issue.

its the fuse... same thing happened to me... PULL THE FUSE OUT and examine it all the way around... even if it isnt blown it might be bad/dirty,burnt etc. I have yet to "blow" a fuse in my car but everytime something has been messed up its because a fuse is bad for some other reason

When I connected the fuse the left side running lights stay on even when the car is off and key out of ignition. What could this be?
