Hey guys i have a BMW cd43 for sale. These are very rare and hard to get and look amazing in our e36s' and e30's. Ebay has these puppies for a bit higher and they also sell those "rover" cd43's which are a rip. Go with OEM BMW FTW!! Should be out of the vehicle in a couple days and in working order, unfortunately no code but should be easily attained through one of our beloved forums or from the stealership. The price is $285+ shipping. My email is the quickest and most efficient way to contact me regarding the HU.

Thank you all
still available! somebody must want one of these babies in their e36!
I think if you, the owner, were to make the effort to obtain the security code "through one of our beloved forums or from the stealership" it would likely sell quickly. Probably worth your effort...

There are some people that have a hard time making them fit but its a matter of adjusting the screws on either side and the black guide spiral thing in the back sometimes plays an issue.. also it varies from car to car since these are older vehicles which each car/situation being unique in itself...
derf lol i just emailed you. do you have any pics of yours?
i just would not want to buy it and then have it not sit correctly.

Good God the reason the radio will not go in is because the side screws need to be screwed in farther. I have 2 CD43's in my M3's and had one in my 328 vert too. There is absolutely no fitment issue. It is the same fit-form-function (with added capability) as the C33 or C43 that you most likely replaced.
For one thing on the video the covers are missing and I have no idea if this guy has the screws open or closed but I can sure see the side screws which interfer.
Again there are no fitment issues...
LOL so that guy in the youtube video is a dumbo lol. i figured that much. Thanks for confirming though.
Would anybody else suggest another headunit? The CD43 is the most updated one could get stock for an e36 correct?
