I was thinking, looking at E21Adam's pic on page 1 with the dashboard speaker grill removed, that would be a great place to put cup holders.

My blue is going to be hitting the chopping block soon. The carpet, door cards and passenger seat are in 95% new condition, with that -5% coming from the carpet.

Do you happen to have door pockets in blue? I would want both. I have one black that i will want to get rid of once i get blue ones in.

My '82 has the rare "doghair" fabric in it.... Champion is a Great Dane/ Bloodhound mix and he's about 120 lbs. He loves being co-pilot.

Here's my dirty little whore. It no longer has the gawdaweful steering wheel cover and has an A/C console.

Here's the old interior of my '82 with the carbon fiber console with e30 leather boot, the gauges are oil psi and A/F, upper power outlet is for the radar detector mounted just above the Wink 5 panel mirror, the lower outlet powers the converter for the PC used to tune the megasquirt efi. Seats are Summit Racing and fit my large frame MUCH better than the original Recaros:





All that is gone now and an entire new interior is in progress with different seats, MUCH better console (including 2 drink holders), aluminum gauge panel with all new gauges. Lots of interesting things going in this car like keyless entry/starting/security (no keys at all-for anything!), electric windows, electric door locks, custom arm rests and door levers and anything else cool I decide to add...

Some shots of my interior when I first brought my '77 home. Pretty dirty in these shots, but I haven't changed much since then. Added a leather steering wheel cover that is much better. Put in a new shifter boot, and a new BMW logo shift knob. Plan on adding new carpet, headliner and recovering the seats.

Momo steering wheel that needs recovering and sports seats from what I was told are from a Nissan Sentra.
