rich328: Your xenon OBC fix worked on my car as well!

Well, the subject says it all. I finally fixed my xenon installation.

I have tried the relay method using three different relays with different coil resistance values (66, 80, and 100 ohm). None of them worked.
But, rich328's fix of bypassing the OBC worked like a charm.

BTW, how long does a typical battery last on a BMW car ? Mine died after 2 and half year.

BTW, what's a vented battery ? How do I check if my battery is vented ?

I cant help you with the battery, although im a 3 years and going strong (I gaurantee the car wont start now) im glad the fixed worked.
