Just like how you made the move from BMW->Porsche, you're gonna have to lead the way from Porsche-> Ferrari. Does Ken (can't remember his last name) still have his Ferrari?

That red one is sick! Proper color too, I see the potential in that one, that worn roof can be replaced by a carbon fiber one

    And this one. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/cto/3517301924.html
There's also this dealer car. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/ctd/3581732734.html

Something is up with that yellow 355. It is too cheap. My guess is it needs a major service badly along with other stuff. It could also be a salvage title car. North Scottsdale Ferrari has a 348, too.

I don't get it. Why are the Ferraris so cheap in AZ? And why haven't they sold?

I only did a quick search for "348" on craigslist and didn't see the other two. The 355 looks far more modern than the 348 for sure. Not really sure why they haven't sold...then again, people here usually just go for the newer stuff. Maybe that's why?

Major service at 30k miles for a 355?

It's amazing how few miles these cars have!

A major is usually $7k-$10k+ depending what needs to be done. It does include a new timing belt, that the factory suggests should be done every 3 years/30k. A 355 is probably the most expensive modern Ferrari to maintain, a 348 closely follows.

here's a 355 Spider that was just listed a few days ago with the 30k service already done. Slightly more $ than the yellow one, but I suppose it's cheaper than having the service done afterwards. I kinda like the understated color as well:

    others to consider:

a boxer 12 can't be that bad when you're already doing maintenance on boxer 6's, no?

I know Gerard will work on a 348/355, but not sure if he'll do a TR. He knows the 8s because he used to work on DeMello's Ferraris and a couple others.'

That Spider is really nice, but it is black and F1. When the F1 pump goes, the part is $10k.

maybe it's time for glasses...the Spider is a dark blue

I guess there aren't too many Ferrari 6 spd transmissions out there to do swaps?

Kind of. Those Ferraris have been for sale for a while, too. According to FChat, those prices are really good. I'm just trying to figure out why there are so many Ferraris for sale in AZ and at such good prices.

Funny story today. G is working on my RX330 (shocks/struts, vc gasket, warped rotors, rear end noise) and calls to tell me they need to get rear shocks. Rears arrived last Thursday after he asked me about the RX and I told him it was FWD. They put the RX on the rack and it has a rear diff. Damnit, I had no idea it was an AWD. lol

Anybody besides B that's still active here? Looks like things have died down significantly since the height of its popularity around '07...back when it was competing against FH adult chat for Jackmaster's attention!

I am a reader, but hardly have anything productive to add to conversations because it's usually about older model bimmers or Porsches. I'm more of a E90 kinda guy.

You know what they say, a BMW is a stepping stone to a Porsche. This forum kind of proves it.

Saw C today and wished her a happy 50th! I think W will celebrate his 35th tomorrow, for the 25th time. lol
