yes, lester is the same company that manufactures the Abrahams wing... what did you end up paying for the high rise ltw wing from schmiedmann.com with shipping? And are you sure it comes with the gurney lip?

on the top, in theory it would make more sense aerodynamically as one of the benefits of gurney flap is eliminating some drag on larger air foils... although I think at some point I've seen the gurney flap on both top/bottom. Not sure if this was a BMW thing or just someone who wanted to go for that look.

Do they sell the gurney flap separately?
My Abrahams high rise is at the body shop with my E36 as we speak, but I have always wanted the gurney flaps too.
Yeah, I found them on the site. It looks like it's just a low profile trunk lip.
More info on doing it can be found here

Very happy with the end result. Have not installed the gurney yet as installing the wing was more time consuming than I thought. Man getting the bolts to line up were a pain on the wing. Should have that on tomorrow.

Thanks. Another update the gurney appeared to be a little too long for this wing so I think maybe it was a standalone item. Weird even though schmiedmann listed it as a recommended item under the wing when I purchased it. No big deal. I cut it to size. Now sanding the edges smooth and applying plastidip to the edges.

I ordered two. One for me and one for a friend. Came to be $413 each shipped. Got them yesterday. Kind of disappointed with the fitment based on a quick mock up in my living room but we will see once I install.
They also have the rieger lip for $130
Anyone have instructions on installation of this? I just received mine yesterday, sent it off to paint, and while I m waiting, thought I'd drill the holes. I thought a template would come with it but it didn't. Anyone have a template or some detailed instructions on the install?
It did come with those. It is from Abrahams. How does it work?
Mine came with 2 or 3 papers. Probably because you're ordering from Denmark.
No sag at all. Looks great from a couple feet. But when you're up close with a magnifying glass, the seams between the top and risers aren't as good as OEM. When I install, i'll be able to apply more torque to it to align the pieces before tightening so we will see. However, I see similar fitment "defects" on the pics others have posted.

Going strong after a few track days, great product!

I literally posted that to save people a ton of money vs abrahams. It's the same exact wing. Oh well.
As for the complaints for the fitment. It is not oem quality fitment. But not ebay quality fitment. It is the happy medium to not shell out over $1000 for an unpainted oem wing. It will not fit properly without attaching the base to your car loosely first and then getting the wing on there. If you need detailed instructions how to install it and get the wing flexed into place pm me. That being said, if I come across an oem at a decent price, I will buy one. But then I'll have to remove the brake light from inside the car.

The oem gt wing is the most common, and that comes with no brake light. I'm assuming he thinks he got screwed by Abrahams for paying like 50 bucks extra over schmeidmann. Hardly something to cry about. Abrahams is a great vendor and was the only option for these for years. Just cause someone came a long and undercut them a bit (mostly in part because it's cheaper for them to get in the first place) hardly constitutes getting screwed.
If you need instructions to install it take it to a body shop. It's 4 screws and some glue.
