Hello. I have this:
Pleas
tell me which version comes the spoiler?
I think it does not come from the GT2 because GT was produced in 95 and for the UK market and this as can be seen from 97 and what is most interesting for the US market. Has anyone realizes if there was some sort of a short series E36 on the US market? Or is it just some individual?
notpowered is correct. It is the lower part of this kit: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...92#51719410981
It says US because it has the third brake light built in.
To be more accurate it's not that "it was never sold in the US." It was never factory installed on US cars. It was available for a little while in the US until BMW cracked down on "euro only" parts being imported into the US.

Does anyone have any photos of an OEM wing mounted with the proper OEM mounting kit from inside the trunk?
A member was kind enough to find me a complete OEM mounting kit for my GT2.
Just curious to visualize how the bracket sits in the trunk, and if it solves the way you have to make the access hole for the Abrahams rep mounting points.

I'll ask again if anyone can help. Can anyone post a photo of an OEM LTW or GT wing mounted with the OEM mounting kit from inside the trunk lid?
Well If I would have known before I sold my spoiler I could have taken some pictures. The mounting kit consists of the clear plastic that you add to the base and the bottom of the top half. Then theres a triangle double sided tape that attaches the base to the trunk itself. Along with the double sided tape that goes along the rest of the base. then of course the part # decal and the bolts. I believe thats it besides the manual that isn't in English.
Yeah I've got the parts. Just curious, as the kit has 6 allen bolts. 4 of them are obvious that they bolt the wing to the base, but there are 2 longer bolts. I'd assume them to screw the base to the trunk lid, but there is no insert on my GT2 base to screw them into? Wondering if the inserts are missing in mine? I'll be able to figure out a way to mount even if thats the case, but it would be very odd being that my wing has never been installed on a car from the looks of things.
It took a long time removing the original mounting tape that had been on there for 15+ years still with the backing on it LOL.
Car needs more front splitter or less garage door seal, but looks really good. Side skirts are so low compared to the rest of the car though.
