Supersprint. Best price vs. best sound vs. best performance in my book...

I really think SUpersprint is th best compromise. Not too loud, but sounds mean when you're in the upper RPM range and really get on it.

hey 1995red318i, definately get the Supersprint, it's the only exhaust I've heard that can make a 318 sound mean and not ricey.

I would have to vote for AA. It sounds the best, looks, and gives the best compromise between droning and acceleration sound.

UUC because: 100% stainless, pretty much same cost as SS (which isn't 100% stainless except M3 system), high quality construction, 25 lbs lighter than stock (so even if it doesn't make any more power, you're still losing some significant weight, thus gaining performance), choice of DTM or subtle look tips, and great sound! Can't count the number of times I've been at autocrosses with 70-100+ cars and several people come up to me and mention that they think my car is one of the best sounding out on course. And this is an otherwise stock car, save custom shocks (SCCA stock class rules).
Some say this exhaust mellows out after a few hundred miles- WRONG! It gets a bit louder if anything.
Downside is that UUC can take forever to ship at times...

Definitely Stromung! I just got one for my M3 two weeks ago, the sound is perfect. I can get you one for $660+shipping if you're interested.

I'm still waiting to hear back from Scott to see if they make an exhaust for the 318 and 323 though. Must be a good surfing week... I keep getting voice mail :

Hey guys, I know we rehash this info every time this topic comes up (I love my AA exhaust, BTW). But what about some new players in the discussion, like Borla? Does anyone have any comment on that one? Or HKS (they make an exhaust for us, right)?

Guys, AA is what I have, and it seems to be the best blend of sound and performance. At first, it seems a little soft, but after a month, it sounds just awesome! This is an exhaust you won't regret.

No problems here on my end, excellent fit, finish and easy install. Took me less than an hour to unbolt the stock and put the UUC in place. Very satisfied with it.
I can't fathom paying for a non-stainless Supersprint at the prices I've seen for it. I have seen the Stromung and AA setups on other cars at CA autocrosses. The Stromung looks like a well-made piece. The AA, don't like the trapezoidal look, but at least its better than some of the stuff I've seen/heard locally...

How about Hamann, They have really nice exaust systems.
KalibOy were have you bought your body kit? Nice work if you have done it by your self.
I´m looking for a wide kit over the weels so I can use bigger weels. Now I have 9x19 Breyton but I want to have something bigger. Maybe 9x19 in front and 11x19 in the back.
    Also looking for Angel eyes?
    Liked your car a LOT!

Hamann exhausts are made by Supersprint.. which means they are only slightly.. very slightly louder than a Supersprint exhaust. And the Supersprint exhaust is way cheaper than a Hamann branded exhaust.
