    ABS Module question

if I were to get a used abs module off another car, will it require coding to get it to work on my car?

Also, if my car is a 2001, do I need to also buy a 2001 ABS module or will any 95-01 fit properly?

ONLY 99-01 abs/dsc control modules will work with your 2001..95-98 came ASC...
A used (working)module will work without coding it but the DSC light will stay on and that function will not work until u code the vin in the module

Yes and also get a ABS unit as close as possible to your number, they work with 6 month time slots just like the E38.

    What is your problem?

Have a technical question, don't send me a PM but post it on the board so others can benefit from it!
