    Suspension questions ? :help

    I have a 01 530i and was wondering if a 01 540i sport suspension fit on my car? If it can is there modifications needed or direct bolt on? Would i get the lower ride height. Thanks in advance

    P.S. Is there any pros or cons to doing this ?

    No, it will not fit.
    What are trying to replace?
    Control arms?
    Shocks, struts?

    Looking for an E39 belly pan , passenger front inner fender liner …

    a friend of mine got a whole new coilover set for his 540 sport. he was going to give me his stock setup for free

    I would not bother.
    Especially, since the 540i shocks and struts are probably original with high mileage/ time.
    And, the 540i shocks and struts are not valved for the lighter I6.

    Damn we tried Casn.. Just go with the NNR's or a set of aftermarket adjustable struts and springs. Or do what I did and get urself some PSS9's
