Whose E39 is this?

Hiya

I like it, it's a 'nice' blend of the VW popular 'air ride' modification and some of the latest BMW's in a matt paint colour.

It's not overly loud as some VW's are which have all sorts of other lairy things like luminous pink wheels or sheepskin interior roof linings etc - just a simple collaboration !

The car most definitley drives as by the press of a button, the suspension will 'raise'. Once the button is let go, the ride height will 'stay' - so by raising an inch, the car becomes drivable on piublic roads. In the pictures above, it's in 'car show' mode and dropped to its absolute lowest and most likely only driveable in slow straight lines.

Yes, it's different, and yes of course the BMW purists will be 'shocked and horrified' .. which is fair enough from 'that' point of view. However, it must be realised that plenty of BMW owners don't stick to OEM and modified BMW's can and do look great!

It's different. I actually like the flat paint. As others ahve said, not crazy about the drop but if it's on air I'd like to see how it sits when ready to be driven.

Plus I think the rims aren't looking the best pushed out past the rubber like that.

Too low but other than that the paint is nice and unique, not too bad, I would have painted the mirrors though. Its not bad how it is now. A little TLC and thats a nice E39
