Dudes, please help. I have BMW 330d -2001(EU). It has DDE4.0(found with DDE part number). And i have dates v41 files+ winkfp. But there is not software for my car. I found with INPA those from my DDE: 7788476,7785464,7788475. And also this 7788310. Is there possible use some else number from DDE4.0 files?

What exactly are you wanting to do? Update your software or code the car for different options?

I want update DDE and maybe transmission too with original files. Maybe later also remapped files. But first wanna original in

Could somebody help? I tries flash ecu with newest soft, but when start flashing, there is battery voltage zero? I have new battery with voltage supply connected.
So flash wont success.

I have the same situation and i made sure i had the display voltage setting checked in the configuration section of WinKFP. At least i know for sure charge is fine as i run a Snapon Flash programming charger set at 14.2 stable current so surely no problems with battery power here.

OK. So voltage wasnt reason why my flash failed. I tried two different times to flasf, but no success.
First try:
CODE 2021 datatransmission to ecu disturbed IFH_0010: DATA transmision to contronunit disturbed 12dde

Second try:

....so is ECU empty? I have taken it out from car. INPA found coding infromations, but thats all... And KWP2000+ wont find ECU at all, program wont open at all anymore. Earlier i have taken backup for tuning.
DIS cant find ECU, just gave many wink what maid be reason...
And then i notice at there is in ECU box different software and officalnumber that what INPA told me. Is that normally?
EDIT: Also BMW part number was same. Maybe those others(different SW and officalnumber) is chanced earlier programming...

Saturday I had the same error half way through flashing my car. I chased it down to changing a couple more setting for my COM1 port and then everything went really smooth. It had me a little worried for an hour or so while my car wouldn't start. The settings I changed are for the "timeout in MS" Originally they are set to Zero. I set them to 1000.

Yes, after that everything worked fine. I flashed both DME and Trans updates.

Was trans update file also from ISTA or from where?

I just started looking for options that might help the transfer of data. Made the changes and everything responded just fine. I used WinKFP. When you import your assembly line data files it gives you everything you need to update your software.

OK. How long takes trans update? Did you erase all adaptations from ECU and EGS after flash? Or has flash whiped those all ready to zero?

Trans took about 15 min. And yes I did clear the adaptations after the flash was done.

Is the procedure to update the transmission the same as doing the DME Euro 2 update? I would like to know more on this.

Yes it is. I didn't change mine to Euro. I just updated the US version. Instead of selecting "choose ZUSB" you select "Update ZUSB" then select the module for your trans. and follow the prompts like normal. Or if you wanted to change it to the Euro the you would do it the same way as you did the DME.

I suggest flashing your ECU with 7789416, that should be the correct update for 7788475.

Guys, I need some help if someone could.I posted this in another thread but when I got to this one, I thought this might be the correct one to ask the question. I already have INPA and the rest of the stuff, but they are old versions and I don't have programming files (i only have the ones in Progman for up to E60 but no individual files in WINKFP).I just bought a used T61 with the software already loaded. It also has Gt1 and Progman VM. What is the best way to update everything(INPA, NCS, Ediabas , WINKFP) and if I download the files from another file share site would they just migrate where they need to go or is there a special trick to load them onto their respective software...

I do not know why all the time I had a bug with WINKFP.

Where can i see the software version with inpa or dis? I tryied installing SSS Progman but it get's stuck at 100%. I was wondering if i have the latest software on the DDE. I own a e46 2005 320cd. Can someone help me? I have WinKFP working but it doesn't show the actual version and the recommended one like Terra says.
