Yea, I have a place to stay in Raleigh, so that will work. I wouldn't want to drive that far just for a few hours. Or I could plan it around a CLE and make it a business expense.

And I can do Columbia as well.


EDIT: In case that post makes me sound like a wuss, I'm not. I've done road trips to Toronto and Las Vegas, both from Charlotte. And I did most of the driving. Really, I'm not a wuss. Please ignore my scrawny muscels and effiminate carriage.

1 - find a meet up spot for those doing the Dragon Run
2 - find a spot in Columbia that will *allow* our presence - preferably somewhere that's has good eats and such close by.

BBS RX in 16x7 And she looks way better in person! For those of you going to C&C you'll see what I'm talking about! No problem Ben! I'm excited too! I think the Sand Hills area will allow us. If it would make everyone feel better I can find a contact number and call them and make sure it's ok. But I am pretty certain that if we just roll up with out saying anything no one would say anything to us.

^Do you mean Raleigh or Greensboro? We're not gonna have the two meets both in NC. That wouldn't be fair for us down in SC. My votes are for Columbia and Raleigh.

I meant put my name down for Raleigh and Greensboro for meets I'd probably be able to go to. My vote for the NC meet is Raleigh, but I'd probably be able to go to Greensboro if that's what we end up doing. As for SC, I probably wouldn't be able to make it to Columbia.

I might not be able to do either of those. Columbia is pretty far, but I might try. And the later (November) meet depends on where I end up at school. If I end up at Duke, I would be able to go (unless I have some other obligation with school). The other schools I applied to are out of the state though.

Also, is there a definite date for the Dragon Run yet?

I'm in for the Meets unless Uncle Sam throws me a curve ball. I will be in GA for part of the summer for school but should be back the middle of Aug. I'm hoping to get promoted again.

19 Feb is best for me for the Dragon run because I will be in between training kids to be Soldiers.

I'm going to go over to Sandhill's to find the security guard guy and ask him some questions and see if I can get the number to the people who give him his paycheck to see about having a meet on their property and give them some details so we have permission to be there. WE MOST LIKELY WON'T NEED IT. It wouldn't hurt. Once we have some dates I am going to spread the word out around here to get more cars to come hang out. I'm also going to get a decal for the windshield for BFC promotion and maybe go to the Ruth and Chris Steakhouse GTG for the BMW of Columbia shindig that they have now and then.

Sounds like a plan Steve! We'll lean towards 19 Feb for the Dragon Run. Does that sound good for everyone else? Also I will probably be able to get one or maybe two more bimmer guys to come with us for the meets and/or dragon runs. One of them being my dad (DADx2 on here) in his 600hp E36 ///M3/4/6, and the other being a friend of mine either in his E46 323i 6-speed or his E30 ///M.

I will be looking at maps in the next few days trying to figure out where we will meet up and then try and print off some route maps. As for snow I will try and keep an eye on the weather out there but will also need help from you nc guys and those of y'all who live close to there to keep an eye on it as well!
