Question do i need wheel spacers

when i went to rotate my tires i found that i have wheel spacers in between the hubs and the two rear wheels. there are none in the front though. i have aftermarket aluminum koenig wheels. i took the spacers off and put them in the trunk. do i need wheel spacers on the rear two wheels or at all for that matter? i've heard you need them on non-hubcentric wheels. could someone clarify this please. thanx.

You're talking about hubcentric adapters. These are for aftermarket wheels that adapt the centerbore (I think is the terminology) of the wheel to the hub. Wheel spacers, though, push the wheels out further in cases of rubbing against the springs/struts, etc.
