I look forward to getting to know everyone! I've drive a 1998 750iL (e38) that makes me smile every single day...
Hopefully I can add some value -- while reviewing posts today, there's certainly a lot for me to learn.
Have an outstanding day!

Hey Mark - you made it! I was wondering when i would see that gorgeous Calypso Red V12 pic again :
Welcome and great to have you here.
Welcome back but damnit Mark, only two posts since August, 2002... you've got a lot of explaining to do man.
You had better get busy soon.
Please relay my holiday regards to your dad and the rest of your family my friend.

Hi Mark,
Yep there some new faces here but mostly it's us same fuglies (grin). Some got tired of "disappearing" posts. Now, a few are discussing Christmas movies(!) but unless they are watching it on a Nav screen it seems far more off topic than asking why posts vanished. (shrug)
I like the regular posters and have nothing bad to say about the moderators either. At this time, I just prefer to make this my first stop when posting or seeking advise or initiating discussions.
It is great to see you here regardless. What you been doing to that tasty red machine?

It's good to be here! I've only been driving "Cali" a couple days a week to keep some miles off of her -- she's got 71K now! I want her to last a long, long time. For an everyday, drive back and forth to work vehicle, I bought a 2003 SVT F-150 Lightning. A load of fun -- but *nothing* like my dear 7.
I still watch the other board, but it's clearly not the same as it used to be.

Hi Mark,
I'm hanging here these days too. How's things in ATL these days? Do you guys still gather for drinks for time to time?
Regards,
Atlanta has been great but the weather lately has been chilly and wet. I haven't seen any of the other e38 guys in months. It's sad, as I really enjoy their company. We threatened to get together a short time back but it never materialized.
If you ever get to Atlanta again, make sure you look me up! My wife and I would love to have you over for dinner.

Hello Mark!
Good to see you here. Have you seen Green Ox lately since he sold his E38?

No, I haven't seen Randy although I do speak with him every once in a awhile. He got out of the high tech business and started his own auto detail shop! He said he loves being around the cars (even if they're not his own)...

Mark,
Good to see you again!!
How are you? How is the family? I was wondering where you have been. I was tempted to roll into Atlanta yesterday on the way back from Florida, but because Baby doesn't have her Pilot Sport AS tires on, I had to continue north because of a winter storm the East Coast is suposed to get today.
One of these daze we will have to twist Mike D's arm (or threaten his Don - King :hair cut : ) j/k Mike
and organize another roadtrip/meet & greet :.
Maybe if we start now, we can arrange something for next spring...these things take time you know.
Welcome back!
Regards,

A spring-time get-together sounds *great*! As you know, I'm willing to drive long distrances for them. I was going through some pictures I took of our last get-together and came across a few:

Hi Mark,
great to see so many old names (and I mean the old in a nice buddy type way)
look forward to caring and sharing about our E38s.
I see you are thinking the same as me about miles on your red babe. What is a lightning? Never heard of them in Scotland although my RX8 is kinda like lightning with a very high power to weight ratio of summat like 180ish BHP per tonne!
Mark,
Those pictures bring back memories of the golden days when several local E38 "first meets" happened within weeks of each other. If my memory serves me correctly, you & Randy actually had the first meet. Then came the East Coast E38, then us in DFW (Dallas-Fort Worth). Looking at the Pics, I see good fellas like Big T, Don King I mean the forum King, Mike D.. Oh, yes, and that guy with the fastest E38 known to mankind. BTW, anyone know how Big T is lately?

:
You have a great memory! Last I knew, Big-T sold his car to help fund a company he was starting up.
I remember clearly the day Randy and I hooked up to talk about the cars...

Hey Mark, Maybe we can have an East Coast meet arounf Atlanta. I'm sure I could get some of the Sunshine 7's to sign up. I'll be posting about our 12/12 Pre Holiday Bash with Simeon. We had a great time, a few beers, some babes and some wheel time with Baby . Simeon, you are truly an outstanding human being!
