So yesterday morning I was driving to school. I pull into the parking lot and then I hear a loud BOOM! I then proceed to park with steam coming from the grills I open the hood and saw my lower radiator hose split in half! Obviasly I was pissed so I start ripping everything apart and snapped the little nipple on the Expansion tank! I grab the hose walk to the parts store down the street and get a new one. That still leaves the Expansion tank. It just so happens I had an old one laying around from a 92 325I. My dad grabbed that along with various other tools and this is what I came up with In the college parking lot.
I went home and did a few modifications but hey it works! Now I know some of you might be swearing at me right now but a new expansion tank is 60 bucks and im a full time student with not a lot of time to work for gas money let alone repairs. I have driven it to and from school today and to Chipotle for lunch with some friends across town and I haven't had an issue yet. This is just temporary until I can buy a new one in like 2 weeks. Thoughts lol
Running on all 8 cylinders once again!

In Greece we have the perfect saying fot this:
"πενία τέχνας κατεργάζεται"
Which roughly translates to:
"poverty creates crafts"
Good one!
Nothing is fool-proof to a sufficiently talented fool
Good thinking! At least it works

If you would have had some Wrigley chewing gum and a paper clip, you could have done a 6 speed swap!
Now you can go with brass!
Was just in Piraeus and went looking for 7-series. Nobody seems to drive them due to the taxes on the motor size. True?
